The Alumni Golf event is a fundraiser first and foremost. The reunion of classmates and decades of great people reconnecting is the personal benefit for all who attend. Winners photos will be put on this site, so no prize table, but more importantly, the rare opportunity to relive the glory days and to laugh.
Finding a golf facility which allows tournaments on weekends is a challenge. Finding availability of courses to accommodate all levels of golf is also a challenge. Finding employees anywhere with knowledge and enthusiasm is nearly impossible. The Poppy Estates Golf Course has been working with us to accommodate the needs of the event combined with the goals of the Alumni Association. We are endeavoring to raise funds for several aspects that lend to the creation of a great school community environment and the making of memories for many in the years to come.
We are looking to help with financial support of Athletics, provide an annual scholarship, assist athletes from underprivileged backgrounds, development camps, and assist in other growth ventures the school might pursue.
Our golf gathering is intended to be an annual event with the opportunity for Alumni to gather, enjoy some golf, a great dinner, Hall of Fame inductees, and more memory making.
To maximize funding for the kids, we will not be offering trophies and prizes to take home.
We will list tournament results on the website and we will post photos of the event. We will have some legendary NW photographers taking action photos and team photos at the event to document the greatness as it happens.
Donations of $25 or more will qualify for a tax receipt from the school district. We have temporarily removed the upper limit of donations so as not to restrict your generosity.
